that would benefit Parsons students, please keep reading!

****Parsons Student Senate has been granted $20,000 for Student-Based
Initiatives. All funding for accepted proposals will be approved
through the Parsons Student Senate.****

How can I get Money? Keep reading:

Project Themes: (At least one of the following) Projects should be “by the students for the students” Serve The Parsons Community at large Must be extra-curricular (cannot be submitted for academic
credit) Should have the ability to impact the student body continually (a

You can submit your proposal in hard copy to the Parsons Advising
Office- 5th Floor of 2 W 13th street- room 506 or email everything to
parsonsstudentsenate@newschool.edu.

If you have any questions, or want to simply inform the Senate in
advance that you are working on a proposal, do not hesitate to email us
at parsonsstudentsenate@newschool.edu. There are also Student Senate
Representatives who can assist you in developing your proposal if you
need a little support working out the details.

“What Metal and Dubstep (and Noise, for the matter) have in common is a philosophy, a metaphysics. At one step back, what they share is a commitment to the idea that music should come out of a philosophy. What is absolutely refused is the hegemonic Indie-endorsed ratification of commonsense, with its – usually implicit – insistence on the smallness of music, its ultimate irrelevance. Irony is repudiated. Music is not ‘just music’. It to be taken extremely seriously, even at the risk of seeming absurd. It is perhaps the absence of any fear of ridicule that is most to be treasured in (Doom and Black) Metal. “NEW ORDER’s American bosses barred actor DAVID HASSELHOFF from singing with them during a live TV performance – because his US show BAYWATCH wasn’t “cool” enough for the British band’s fans.

“The veteran dance outfit recorded a version of their 1993 hit REGRET on the sandy Baywatch set at Los Angeles’ Venice Beach, amidst a horde of scantily-clad beauties.

“However, New Order’s US aides – who failed to understand that New Order’s use of the Baywatch props was an ironic statement – were quick to steer the actor away from the microphone, fearing his presence would affect their “cool” reputation stateside.

“Frontman BERNARD SUMNER says, “If you look at the video, the birds (women) in it are pretty rough.

The Process 3-1-2

The process 3-1-2 means the triad in which the third force comes first, followed by first force, resulting in second force. In Rodney Collin’s useful terminology, it is described as the sequence form-life-matter: Form, applied to life, reduces it to matter. In its negative aspect, this is sometimes called the process of crime, or the process of corruption. An example is the work of a virus. The virus represents form, or the third force, and it acts on life, the first force, reducing it to matter, the second force. Third force always stands between second and first force in its “density of vibrations”, or intelligence. The virus is not alive, but hijacks the living, leaving dead matter in its wake.

Another example of the negative side of this process 3-1-2 is formatory thinking. Formatory thinking occurs when a pre-existing thought-form is applied to thought, essentially destroying the living process of thinking by forcing it to fit into the pre-existing form, which results in some lifeless result, for example, a slogan. In technical language, formatory thought occurs when the mechanical part of the intellectual centre overrides the work of the intellectual part of the intellectual centre. This is wrong work of centers, in this case, parts of centres.
